Lynna Kivela, MA., is a math, special education, and yoga teacher. She was married to a diagnosed sociopath and pushed her way out of the confusion by transcending, through the written word, the typical thoughts and writings surrounding sociopaths. She lives in Oceanside, California with her rescue animals.

Beautifully written, brave, raw, sometimes sad, but always hopeful.

Must read. Work of art and heart. It made me more aware of who I am and where I came from. I could see, feel, and understand my own pattern of falling into bad relationships with bad people. This book made me not fearful of looking back into my childhood of abuse so I could understand why I do the unhealthy things I do, not that I was finding excuses, but so I could start trying to see and stop myself. I was impacted by Lynna's ability to be honest with herself and to help people like me to try to be better.
